(CAS) David Medina es uno de los referentes de la música electrónica del norte de la península y residente de Sonora, mejor club 2014 en los Vicious Awards. En sus 19 años de experiencia por cabinas de medio mundo ha pasado por países como India, Inglaterra, Alemania, Estonia, Francia, Costa Rica, Marruecos o Ukrania, así como por los mejores clubs de la península o Ibiza.
Ha compartido cabina con los mejores artistas mundiales como , Ame, Tale of Us, Adriatique, Fur Coat, Maceo Plex, Undercatt, Recondite, Marco Carola , Adam Beyer , Sex Troxler…. Como Productor con mas de 40 temas publicados, ha entrado varias veces en el top 100 de Beatport asi como sus tracks ha. Sido tocados por grandes Artistas de todo el mundo. Su estilo siempre en constante evolución, se mueve entre el Deep house , afro o melodic Techno, siempre con una gran conexión en pista y una exquisita selección música.
(ENG) Born in Bilbao and still living there, David started to feel the attraction for the electronic music and for the vinyl format around the year 2000. He received a strong influence from that time’s house and techno music, mostly the one coming from Chicago, Detroit and New York. Currently he is resident at Sonora (Bilbao), winner of the prize to the best nightclub in 2014 by the Vicious Music Awards. He has shared the craved cabin of the 909 at Sonora with some of the most acclaimed names in the worldwide electronic scene, such as Stephan Bodzin, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Marco Carola, Seth Troxler, Matthias Tanzmann y The Martinez Brothers, among many others. Besides being resident, he has travelled to numerous clubs throughout Europe, namely Space Ibiza, Privilege, Weekend Berlin, Suicide Circus, Ministry of sound, Egg, Off Sonar, Beija Fiore… and also to music festivals such as Aquasella, Electrosplash and Uda Beah. This artist is in constant evolution and he is distinguished for having a special way of connecting with the public, which is provoked by his fine but diverse musical taste, converging his sessions into the most sensitive deep, a vibrating tech progressive house and deep and intense techno. David does not only create conscientiously all his sessions, but also his compositions, some of which have reached Beatport’s top 100. He is always conscious for transfering the way he understands the music to the public and he has been searching for a new sound that represents him. During 2016 new productions will come out, both individuals and in collaboration with other artists like Chris Burnstein, David Ponziano, Danny B and Mikel Ayerra for instance. His energy at the cabin, his pampered sessions and his careful technique mixed with his closeness with the public make David Medina’s signature.
